Here's a photo of the YW who were at church today (11/11/12). They have beautiful spirits to go along with their beautiful smiles! On the left is Kate (age 17). Next is Rose (age 14). Next to her is Karmin (age 14). The one on the right is Bay Tuey (age 13). They said there are 5-6 girls that weren't present today. Hopefully, we'll get photos of the entire group and post it at another time!
Today is an important day in the lives of our little branch members! There is a devotional tonight where the announcement will be made that the North District will become a Stake, which means that our little branch will become a Ward! And that will make TWO Stakes in Thailand. The importance of that cannot be overstressed - for the land of Thailand to receive a temple, they have been informed that the Church must have at least two Stakes and a certain number of active Melchizedek priesthood holders. So, with the formation of this new Stake, the next step will be to make sure the brethren are activated and the Church grows to be able to sustain a temple. Happy days for the Thai members!!!
